About
Kindred Spiral is a community focused on individual and collective growth. We will challenge traditional values of masculinity by embracing attitudes centered on:

Our first men's circle will be cost-free, welcome to all men identifying persons, and open to ages over 21.
WHY
This project aims to co-create a brave space for men to grow, heal and uplift their communities by first beginning with themselves. Through collective
participation, our program intends to reclaim and redefine masculinity. All men will leave better equipped to manage their emotions and communicate effectively in their interpersonal and spiritual relationships.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

One weekend camping trip (late October)

MEET THE FACILITATORS
Erik Vargas (He, Him, Él) is a Chicano educator, artist, and athlete who grew up in the San Diego-Tijuana border region. Using a decolonial and eco- socialist framework, Vargas currently teaches ELD/English, coaches soccer and facilitates clubs at Castle Park High.
Alejandro Martinez (He, Him, Él) is from the San Diego/Tijuana border region. His current projects are centered around wellness, youth arts education and storytelling. As a decolonial feminist, Martinez believes deeply in radical change and community based healing.
Manuel Belmonte (He, Him, Él) is a decolonial feminist Chicano from SoCal who has been involved in environmental justice efforts to defend land, air, and water. His current praxis revolves around nurturing healthy, reciprocal relationships and integrating restorative approaches to mend conflict.
