As our Art of Belonging exhibition comes to a close, You Belong Here is welcoming members of our creative community to engage in a discussion about the ins and outs of being an artist in San Diego.

The panel will feature fine artist and gallery owner Lauren Siry as the moderator, along with contemporary artist Sarah Stieber and local curator Kara West, lending their expertise on the topic of "Making it as an artist in San Diego." 

Five featured artists with work currently on exhibiton at You Belong Here will be participating in the discussion, posing questions to the panel. 

Audience members are encouraged to come armed with their own questions, which will be addressed following the artist/panel discussion. 

Event format: 

6pm - Cocktail hour / meet & greet

7pm - Panel discussion begins

7:45pm - Audience Q&A

8pm - Panel ends / open discussions & final thoughts 

9pm - Event ends
