Pom Pom Project for Dia de Los Muertos Altar with Artist Katie Ruiz

Join artist Katie Ruiz in making Pom Poms that will be part of a Dia de Los Muertos altar at San Diego Botanical Gardens and You Belong Here.

Ages 5 and up welcome, all children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Please submit a form for each person attending.

FREE to attend

The Class will take place Sunday September 19th, 2021 for one hour. Each student will get a kit to take home and make more pompoms at home. We request that you bring back the pompoms and kits by October 10th to You Belong Here.

If you can't make it to the class you can just grab a kit and watch a how to video.

Schedule:

  • English Instructional and Crafting: 11am -12pm

  • Spanish Instructional and Crafting: 12pm - 1pm

  • Pick-up kits: 12:30 - 1:30pm
