You Belong Here is partnering with The Brink SBDC to offer members 1:1 business advising, on-demand business training, live business workshops, and financial office hours. The Brink SBDC is a specialty center of the San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center Network, hosted at the University of San Diego. The Brink SBDC provides world-class training and free and confidential one-on-one consulting to business clients running or starting growth-oriented, innovation-based companies.
For March and April, we are hosting (4) financial office hours at You Belong Here (or virtual via zoom) and you can ask your questions all about accounting (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement - can bring to look over), budgeting, borrowing, forecasting, financial analysis, cash management, risk management, depreciation, meeting with an accounting/tax professional, and more! These financial office hours are 45-minute time slots.

MEET THE EXPERTS
Richard Clarke
Richard brings over 12 years experience in the biotech, finance, automotive, and general consulting industries with a focus on operations, supply chain management, life cycle consulting, sales technology and process development optimization, and strategic planning. He has consulted with more than 70 small businesses focusing on B2B, B2C, and SaaS. In fall of 2019, Richard began his grad school program where he holds several elected and appointed leadership positions.
He always looks forward to bringing his energetic, passionate approach to his clients and coworkers at The Brink. He graduated in Spring 2021, completing a dual MBA and MS in Finance.
Kira Frye
Kira currently resides in San Diego, with her husband Sean, and young son Aiden. A Sun Devil and Aztec Alum who enjoys hiking, sailing, and traveling. Has almost ten years of account management and sales experience within the small to midsize business community. Is passionate about helping companies succeed and connecting them with the appropriate resources as they scale. As a Solutions Manager at Escalon, she supports current clients and new with Essential Business Services (EBS). Escalon considers essential business services to be any administrative or non-core, but essential business activities such as accounting, bookkeeping, taxes, insurance, payroll, benefits, and recruiting. By handing this off to me/Escalon, founders and business owners can focus on growing their business, which is the reason I enjoy my job day in and day out!
